Children’s Day in India are observed every year on 14th Nov. colourfully. Still cases of school-dropouts, mal-nutrition, clotheslessness, lack in parental-care in the children’s lives in India are fathomless. Seeds of our future society lie barely on carelessness. Such one-day donation programme of a voluntary Social-Work Organization cannot eradicate the poverty of the society; it can only motivate the social people to come forward and join in such voluntary work to create more such programmes. And if it happens everywhere, movement for eradicating poverty may be worthily meaningful.

Social Touch And Reform has programmed at Kolkata GPO Veranda on 22nd September, 2011 for donating Clothes to 150 very-poor people. Within the Periphery of BBD Bag , Kolkata, there are bulk no. of Persons who earn only through Begging. Still good many Govt. and Non-Govt. Offices are there which do not have any sympathy or supportive thought for those very Poor People living around their Good-Graded Offices. This darkness in Caring-attitude towards unprivileged people claims Social-Work Education for those high-profile Office-Unions, Associations and Administrations. Aiming to spread this Social-Work Culture, Social Touch And Reform had chosen the Venue ‘Kolkata GPO Veranda’ for donating the Clothes. Some views of the Programme are shown below :

We believe that Learning is fathomless. Besides formal and theoretical knowledge, people has the urge to see the Unseen to know the Unknown. Here Tourism has an immense value that supports the people to make themselves more enriched Culturally, Geographically, Socially and Literally. Our Social-Worker Friends are working at many places. Tourists will get good support if they intimate us so. By our own initiative also, we are trying to arrange Tour for Bakkahli, Basanti, Krishnanagar, Mayapur, Sagar (Gangasagar), Santiniketan, and Tarakeswar from Kolkata and this venture believed will be a path of earning for some people for their social living too.
